Still up and coming and totally worth trying, Nora Dabas, a small womenswear brand, carries hidden gems that hijabis would find irreplaceable.
1. Hijabi Top
Made for the modest girl who doesn’t want to look like a hobo at the same time (if you dress modestly, you should know what I mean haha). The length is long enough to be modest but not too long to where it can pull off as a mini dress. Looks brand new out of the wash and the unique neutral color gets constant praise in reviews.

2. Bodycon Top
Hijabis either have to wait to visit the Middle East, or they stop by Gap and Old Navy for long sleeve shirts. Hijabis need them to conceal the skin from short-sleeved or sheer tops.
The Bodycon top compares in that it looks very high-quality if the sleeves and hem show, and it also looks brand new out of the wash. It has very little stretch so that it doesn’t cause sagging around the elbows, and it’s still comfortable when on regardless.
❁ Wear it every day under sheer tops. Great for casual to semi-formal events based on stitching.
3. The Silk Hijab – gift it*
Available in black and off-white, it’s made of silk georgette spandex that has an elegant sheen irl, a bit of stretch to wrap comfortably on the head and a trendy hem-stitched trim at the ends for a bit of style. Comes in a custom dust bag. May seem expensive but the quality is definitely visible by touch and look.

Available in 2 beautiful colors, this top is elegance at its finest. Removable wrist ties, a long tie at the back of the turtleneck, a slimming, flowey fit and a satin sheen that calls expensive.

5. Dark Floral Dress
Everyone will ask you where you got it from. They’ll guess Modanisa? No, ma’am. Nora Dabas quality is better. They create completely new styles with intricate details that are not visible in the product photos. This floral dress has waist pleats, grey chiffon cuffs and collar, small shoulder pads and fabric buttons down the back. To save the best for last, this Nora Dabas dress has a fabric piece running underneath the back buttons to prevent the skin from showing while maneuvering the arms and shoulders excessively (such as when giving someone a hug).

6. Multi-Occassion Skirt
There have been many requests for sizes XS and S, because it’s truly a classic piece (M – 2XL available). High-waisted, it goes straight to the knees and then flares a little after. Ankle-length and can be worn casually with a tucked tee or a sparkly blouse to a formal party. It’s also very popular with older women because it’s just like the classic Middle Eastern skirts that they usually go for.

7. The “Lycra” Under-Piece (not actually made from Lycra) – gift it*
The common under-pieces (that get worn around the head usually underneath headscarves) are made of cotton or a cotton-blend material. This one was created from a quality polyester-spandex that is as breathable as cotton, not sound-impairing, large enough for most head sizes and shapes and is long enough to cover the head. There is so much more info to spill about this under-piece, but in short, it’s totally worth trying one of these! White is always sold out and Nora Dabas restocks every few months*. A tip is to use a safety pin to make it fit better if it’s large on your head.
❁ Wear it both casually and formally. Nice quality that it can even be worn to weddings but not too formal where it isn’t suitable for everyday.

Ankle skirt with a a matching cropped jacket. You can purchase them separately, but they make a great modest streetwear look for teens up until older in age. Notice: skirts have no stretch so your size must be accurate to the size chart.
